Deadlines & Eligibility
Submission Deadline:
All entries must be successfully submitted by January 15, 2027, at 11:59 PM. Late entries will be disqualified automatically.
Eligibility:
Students must list their current Engineering & Technology course, school name, and sponsoring instructor upon submission to qualify.
Technical & Production Requirements
To ensure the logo can be easily applied to physical merchandise (swag) and digital marketing channels, designs must adhere to these strict limits:
Vector Assets Required: The finalist must supply the native Adobe Illustrator (.AI), .EPS, or scalable vector (.SVG) files.
Color Variations: Submissions must render clearly in three colorways: full color, solid black, and solid white.
Scalability: Simple enough to be clearly embroidered or printed on a 1-inch pin, yet robust enough for huge banners.
No Production Hazards: Avoid complex gradients, fine drop-shadows, or ultra-thin lines that cause screen-printing issues.
Design Integrity & Prohibitions
Plagiarism & Stock Content:
All imagery must be 100% original. Third-party clip art, icons, stock design elements, and templates are not allowed.
Generative AI Ban:
The use of artificial intelligence generators (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E) is strictly prohibited. Submissions found using AI will be permanently disqualified.
Ownership & Intellectual Property Transfer
To claim the cash prize, the winning designer must transfer full ownership and all publishing rights to the division. This enables OkACTE to modify, reproduce, and distribute the logo freely. The student retains the absolute right to display the design in their personal academic or career portfolio.
